The Samuel Merritt University Office of Diversity and Inclusion invites you to a Lecture and Two-Day Workshop featuring Dr. Joy DeGruy on Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome.

Part 1: Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome-America’s Legacy of Enduring Injury and Healing

Thursday, April 6th, 6:00 P.M.

Part 2: Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome- Be the Healing

Friday, April 7th 6:00 PM-9:00PM

Location : Samuel Merritt University Health Education Center

400 Hawthorne Ave, Oakland, CA 94609

(Part 1 & 2 required for CE hours)

(Part 2 is also free unless you need CE hours)

CEUs are available, for a $25 dollar fee for this event. All proceeds for this event will go to the Regents Diversity Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships for underrepresented student in the Health Professionals.

Fees can be payed on the day of the event at registration.
