The 4th Sundays in July, August, and September Memorial Tabernacle Church is bringing the community together to be encouraged, fellowship, share with each other, and receive resource information.  Resources available at our Block Party Worship include: Music for the Soul Prayer Submission and Prayer Booth Words of Encouragement 1-on-1 Counseling Support for those who are Dealing with Life (Lack of Secure Housing, Hunger, Unhappiness, Weaknesses in the Body, Financial Struggles, etc) City of Oakland Aging and Adult Services Department Health Resources and Nurses on-site Youth Literacy Support and Free Books Youth Going Green Recycling Program Other Community Partners, Counselors, Businesses, & Services It is time to come together as a community. There is too much division amongst those who consider themselves to be neighbors.  Bring your love, generosity, positivity, and pledge to "Stand with Memorial Tabernacle Church in Support Community Unity, Impact, & Love!"   It is also Pastor Ulysses' Stephen King's birthday, and he asks for you to show your love for him by your presence and inviting others to be a part. Let's honor that!  If you have a brown MTC shirt, please wear it Sunday.   We are doing a new thing at MTC during our Summer Rains!

On behalf of Sister Sharon Irving, your presence is requested at our Prayer Shut-ins: The Earthquake At Midnight Fridays, 8PM to Saturday, 12AM | Dates: September 8 & September 15 Scripture Reference: Acts 16:25-34 An evening of prayer. An evening of restoration. An evening of release so we prepare to go! During our prayer shut- in, the women under the leadership of Sis Sharon Irving will grow closer to God by understanding the importance, significance, and necessity of prayer. All are welcome including the men. We ask men of faith to cover the women in prayer and pray along with them in the main sanctuary. You are encouraged to bring: - Your bible, - Notepad, - Kneeling pillow or blanket, - Inspirational music, and - Your heart to grow closer to the Lord Let's get excited about the transformation God is doing in the heart's of believers in our communities and churches.
