An Easter Sunrise Service will begin at 6 am in the Berkeley hills overlooking the Bay Area. We greet the new morning and the promise of new life. This simple outdoor service will include music, song and prayer. Children are most welcome! Breakfast treats will be served immediately following. Bring a carafe of your favorite coffee to share. Cups, sugar and cream will be provided. Rev. Molly Baskette will lead this service in the parking lot of the Lawrence Berkeley Hall of Science. If it is drizzling, the service will go on at the parking lot. In case of rain, the service will be held in Loper Chapel at First Church Berkeley. Rev. Mount Davidson Cross 39 Dalewood Way, San Francisco, CA, United StatesSan Francisco’s grandest Easter morning tradition gets under way at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2019: the annual Sunrise Service at Mount Davidson Cross. This year’s citywide celebration atop the City’s highest peak marks the 98th anniversary of the event. Community leaders taking part in the non-denominational city-wide celebration at the foot of America’s largest cross include Rev. Jeff Mammen of New Life Church, Robert Burns of Christian Counseling Center, Pastor Alex Cabansagan of Family Christian Fellowship, Rev. Seng Chin of Church of Christ, and San Francisco Fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White. The program will also feature music by the Salvation Army Brass Ensemble and Lynne Miller of The House of Bagpipes. Admission is free. Situated at the summit of Mt.
