DESCRIPTION:When: Thursday\, November 19\, 2020\nTime: 9:00AM to 11:00AM\n\nStrategic Planning Tag Team Workshop\n\nThe FAITHS Program “A Model Built on Faith” (AMBOF) will hold a workshop and panel on the “Strategic Planning Tag Team Workshop.” This workshop will be a bit different from previous workshops as the facilitator will tag-team with a panel of professionals to discuss the phases of the strategic planning process and provide pro tips from their professional experiences on how to troubleshoot issues that may arise from the plan’s concept to its implementation. Participants will also have a chance to connect with other participants and panelists through breakout sessions. They will answer questions related to their experience creating strategic plans and how they achieved success. \nThe workshop will be facilitated by Shawn Johnson\, Program Director of the FAITHS – AMBOF. \n\nZoom Link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81713896760\nMeeting ID: 817 1389 6760\n\n==\nPresenters: \n\nAngela Upshaw\, Associate Director of Programs at the Berkeley Food & Housing Project\nAngela originally joined Berkeley Food & Housing Project in 2013\, as the Healthcare Coordinator\, where she helped to connect individuals experiencing homelessness to healthcare services and insurance through the Affordable Care Act. Angela rejoined the BFHP team in 2017\, to help with the expansion of the Roads Home Program in Sacramento and Amador Counties. She oversees the homeless veterans’ services program in Alameda\, Contra Costa\, Solano\, Sacramento\, and Amador Counties. Angela has Master’s degrees in Public Health (MPH) and  Business Administration (MBA).\nEbony Smith\, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate/ Reliance Partners\nA San Francisco native\, Ebony earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and spent several years applying her skills in different industries such as nonprofit housing development\, mental health\, finance and community coaching. Ebony has dedicated over 40\,000+ hours of her time advocating for fair and equitable housing\, local-state policy transparency\, mental health\, fair and equal education for underserved communities. Her interest includes web development\, teaching\, exploring different cities\, and traveling to other states and countries.\nKiki Poe\, Membership and Operations Director at the East Bay Housing Organizations\nKiki has dedicated her professional and personal life to being of service to the people. Over her career\, she has worked on securing LGBTQ+ rights and led database training for nationwide fundraising teams. With over 15 years of experience in building relationships and supporting mission driving organizations\, she is excited to be working in the effort to bring housing equity to the Bay Area. She believes every relationship built is the opportunity to create change starting with that person.\nMarcus Savage\, Recruitment Manager at Year Up\nMarcus currently oversees student recruitment and community partnerships for Year Up San Francisco. With over 10-years of experience working in the post-secondary space\, Marcus has been relentless in his pursuit to effect change by creating opportunities for young-adults throughout the Bay Area. During his career\, Marcus has developed and executed countless outreach\, recruitment\, and community engagement strategies resulting in positive outcomes for the organizations he has served.
