For 100 years, the Allen Temple Baptist Church has been a pioneering and history-making congregation impacting not only the City of Oakland but the nation at large. On Sunday, December 8, 2019, Allen Temple will add to that rich history by installing their ninth Senior Pastor, the Reverend Dr. Jacqueline Thompson, the first woman to ever serve in this capacity in the 100-year history of this trailblazing congregation. The Installation Sunday celebrations will consist of three worship services: 8:00 AM Morning Worship Service Guest Preacher: Reverend Dr. William S. Stewart, Senior Pastor Christ Missionary Baptist Church (Memphis, Tennessee)
