DESCRIPTION:Looking for a unique and special way to celebrate New Year’s Eve? Join us at GLIDE Church on December 31 for NYE Watch Night Sing\, a joyous opportunity to bring community voices together to sing in the New Year with good intentions and loving hearts through instantaneous song and celebration! \nWhat is the NYE Watch Night Sing? \nFor some of us\, New Year’s Eve is best experienced as a time of reflection\, a time to contemplate the old year passing and the birth of a new one\, an opportunity to come together and set intentions within a sacred and safe space with fellow community members. \nThis year\, GLIDE Church is offering a space for this\, in the hours leading up to midnight\, in the form of nonstop creative circle-singing and spoken word in the Church sanctuary. \nCommunity members are invited to come and go throughout the experience\, as GLIDE Ensemble Director Vernon Bush and other facilitators offer up their inspirations within the circle of singing. \nThis is a radically inclusive\, all-out fun\, reflective and creative event for everyone! \n\nSing or listen—There’s no experience or sound equipment necessary\, just voices singing in the sanctuary\nInteract with makeshift altars created by the community and or inspired artists\nAll are welcome—This is a family-friendly event\nCome and go\, or stay the whole time\nIt’s free!\nBring friends\, meet new friends\, and create memories for 2020 and beyond\n\nThe evening will be facilitated by singer\, composer and GLIDE Ensemble Director Vernon Bush.
