Allen Temple Health and Social Services hosts its 4th Annual MLK Drum Major for Freedom Breakfast and fundraiser on Monday January 20, 2020 at the Hilton Oakland Airport. Our theme this year is ”A NEW ERA. A NEW WAY.” By supporting the 4th Annual MLK Drum Major for Freedom Breakfast, you will be helping us to assist members of our East Oakland community during a time of increased needs of services. This event is featuring special guest and keynote speaker, Sharon Cooper, who is a Community Activist and sister to Sandra Bland. Sharon speaks on her life, legacy and HBO's "Say Her Name: The Life and Death of Sandra Bland".
