Memorial Tabernacle Church 5801 Racine Street, Oakland, CA, United StatesIn partnership with the OUSD McKinney-Vento Program, MTC's Embracing Our Community desires to be a blessing to families-in-need this Christmas season. OUSD Transitional Families / McKinney-Vento Liaisons work with the neediest children and their families to provide items of greatest need. These children live in cars, shelters or with other family members without a space to call their own. Our goal is to simply provide a bit of extra joy during the holiday season and take some of the pressure off of mom and/or dad. All donations listed below are needed by Sunday, December 17, 2017! Several opportunities to drop-off your donation: Sun, Dec 10 12:30-2:00PM Tues, Dec 12 & Wed, Dec 13 5:00-8:00PM Sat, Dec 16 12:00-3:00PM Sun, Dec 17 2:30-5:00PM It is the plan for this partnership to extend beyond the 2017 Christmas season. An evening of restoration. An evening of release so we prepare to go! During our prayer shut- in, the women under the leadership of Sis Sharon Irving will grow closer to God by understanding the importance, significance, and necessity of prayer. All are welcome including the men. We ask men of faith to cover the women in prayer and pray along with them in the main sanctuary. You are encouraged to bring: - Your bible, - Notepad, - Kneeling pillow or blanket, - Inspirational music, and - Your heart to grow closer to the Lord Let's get excited about the transformation God is doing in the heart's of believers in our communities and churches. Breakfast in Bed: Feeding the Hungry

Such a joy to meet the needs of our community members, our neighbors. Save-the-date for our future outreach opportunities each second Saturday 6:30-9:30 AM. We prepare meals 6:30-8 AM and distribute the meals 8-9:30 AM. Register below to support.
