The National Brotherhood Alliance, the City of Richmond & Chevron presents the Juneteenth Family Day Parade & Festival, Saturday, June 16th.
The Parade starts at 10:00 am on Cutting Blvd and Marina Way South. This year’s Grand Marshall is the singing cowboy Clarence Van Hook and showcase African American horse riders and the historic Wells Fargo Stagecoach.
The Festival begins at 11:00 am at Nicholl Park – on Macdonald Ave in Richmond. Featuring the Original Kingdom Travelers, Robin Williams & the Peace Gospel Choir, soloist Michael Nelson, and headlining the main stage is the Godfather of P-Funk George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelics and more. Hosted by Eddrick Osborne of More Public Radio.
