Google opened their doors to the students, faculty, staff, affiliates, and supporters of the Tupac Shakur inspired East Oakland, CA based charter school, Roses In Concrete. Students displayed in various forms the creative expressions they are being taught at Roses and shared a glimpse of the what the school in its infancy, has been producing.
To add to the already incredible experience, actress and supporter, Zendaya, shared some insightful experience, lessons, and inspiring words to the attentive and excited ears of the Roses students. “It may sound cliche but its so true…follow your heart…whatever it is you want to do…do it.”
