BET to Name Sunday Best Season 9 Winner, With Guest Performances by Tasha Cobbs Leonard, VaShawn Mitchell, Kelly Price, Jonathan McReynolds & Erica Campbell

Cropped Bet Sunday Best Finale 2019

The popular gospel competition has come to a close, and Sunday we learn who will be named the Season 9 Sunday Best winner. After weeks of healthy competition, Sunday Best is down to their final 2 contestants – Joshua Copeland and Melvin Crispell, III.

Both stand out with their distinct voices, and strong stage presence – as seen during both of these performances:

The season 9 winner will receive a recording contract with RCA Inspiration, a cash prize of $50,000 and the title “Sunday Best Winner.” BET will crown the season 9 Sunday Best winner on Sunday, August 25th at 8:00PM ET/PT.

The finale episode will feature special performances from GRAMMY Award®-winner Tasha Cobbs Leonard, multiple Stellar Award-winner VaShawn Mitchell.  Fans will also see soul stirring performances from judges Jonathan McReynoldsKelly Price, and  Erica Campbell debuting her new single “Praying & Believing.”

Tune-into the season 9 finale of Sunday Best on Sunday, August 25th at 8:00PM ET/PT on BET.
