Please join us on the Beyond the Bricks National Community Engagement Town Hall Tour Saturday October 2, 2010
School age Black males are in Crisis, and its time we do something about it. “Beyond the Bricks” is a documentary created with the goal of promoting solutions for one of America’s critical problems in education: the consistently low performance and graduation rates of African-American boys in the public school system.
Washington Koen Media Productions along with Allen Temple Baptist Church, Insight Center for Community Economic Development, Forward Ever Media/ 2025 Campaign, and the National Equity Project are convening to discuss solutions @ the Beyond the Bricks National Community Engagement Town Hall Meeting, which includes a documentary screening, community-panel discussion, and planning workshops on Saturday October 2, 2010 in Oakland, CA at Allen Temple Baptist Church.
