Ernest Larkins, a Bay Area Native is quietly enjoying songwriting success. Following rehearsal at the historic Olivet Institutional Baptist Church, Larkins was inspired by the melody being played by Robert “Bam” Anderson. In a matter of minutes, Rejoice With Me was born.

Both Larkins and Anderson are Bay Area staples throughout local gospel circles. Larkins, is most known nationally for penning the catchy choir favorite “Dont Ya Give Up,” and continues to work in ministry through his group Messengers of Hope while completing seminary.
The digital single goes on sale exclusively on iTunes on December 17th. Fans are in for another big treat when club remixes of the song are released in January. The radio single anchors Dr. Jones’ first CD in seven years, “Rejoice With Me,” scheduled to hit stores March 25, 2014 on EchoPark JDI Entertainment (Caroline Distribution).
