Gospel Legend, and Bay Area native Daryl Coley, 60, passed away the evening of Tuesday, March 15, 2016 after years of declining health. The Grammy Award Winning artist called the Bay Area home, until recently returning to Southern California with family and spent the last months of treatment and care there.
Most notably known as one of the great male vocalists of his time, the minister, father, and friend will be remembered during the Homegoing Celebration set for:

Born in Berkeley, CA and raised in the Bay Area – the Castlemont High School (Oakland,CA) graduate was a member of the famed Castleeers, The Helen J.H. Stephens Voices of Christ, The Edwin Hawkins Singers, and later worked supporting Rev. James Cleveland, Lady Tramaine Hawkins and countless others as he traveled internationally before releasing his debut solo project, Just Daryl in 1986.
