Karter’s 1st Annual Special Needs Fashion Show

Emeryville Center for Community Life 4727 San Pablo Avenue, Emeryville, CA, United States

On Saturday, March 23rd we are hosting our very 1st Annual Special Needs Fashion Show at the Emeryville Center for Community Life ECCL from 1-4pm! This is a free event, I just want to show our community the greatness in these babies and educate what these disabilities look like and ultimately offer a fresh approach to Inclusion! Karter is four, has a wheelchair and was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Over his four years, we have unfolded and become a support platform for local families. We are showing what it is to live boldly and confidently even in our position. This was the birth of the Let Me Be Great Foundation, our disability awareness nonprofit. I made up in my mind that as long as my baby would fight, I would fight. I would be his first advocate and I would see to it that he would be able to be his best self and Great in society at that. These special needs children have our love but need the support of the community just like every other group speaking out. For more info, visit: https://www.facebook.com/TLMBGF/
