The 9th Attend & Achieve Back to School Rally 2016 is a partnership effort with the Oakland Natives Give Back, Office of Assemblymember Bonta, the City of Oakland’s Office of the Mayor, Parks and Recreation, Ramsell, Oakland Unified School District, Twinkle’s Little Stars.

This spectacular event will be held from 12:00pm to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 14th at Oakland at City Hall, located at 1 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza.

The Back-to-School Rally has been designed for community engagement, fun, and to be inspirational – just in time for you and your family to prepare to blast off into the new school year, prepared and ready to succeed!!!

The event will feature:

• Free giveaways to the first 1000 children*
• Dissemination of information that is key to academic succes
• Family-friendly activities
• Youth, teen and parent workshops
