Black Elected Officials & Faith-Based Leaders of the East Bay (BEO&FBL) cordially invite you to attend its annual Community Leaders Recognition Awards Reception on Wed., Dec. 14th at Everett & Jones Q’s Lounge in Oakland from 5:30pm – 8:30pm.  This year, an engaging dialogue will take place with special guest, Honorable Willie L. Brown, co-moderated by emerging leaders Melvin Cowan (USF graduate student) and Serena Witherspoon (UC Berkeley student).

The Community Leaders Recognition Award pays special tribute to civic leaders who have lead innovative initiatives and demonstrated unwavering commitment to promote systemic change in our communities.
