The 12th Annual UCSF Abundant Life Health Ministries Symposium: A Gathering for Faith, Health and Community is scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2019, 8:30am-1:30pm, UCSF Mission Bay Campus-Genentech Hall, 600 16th Street, San Francisco 94158.
The purpose of the UCSF Abundant Life Health Ministries Network is to foster the development, growth and sustainability of health ministries. Church and community representatives may join us for education, resources, networking, partnership opportunities and fellowship. We have an excellent roster of academic faculty, public health and health ministry/faith community presenters, all working together toward healthier individuals, families, congregations and communities!
Featured presentations on cancer health disparities, health equity, precision medicine and cancer research, skin and hair care for people of color, prostate cancer, tobacco control and much more delivered by physicians, researchers, educators, advocates, ministry leaders and nurses who consider it an honor, responsibility and priority to educate, improve access and share the latest cancer and research information and opportunities with communities of faith and communities of color.
