Monday, August 14, 12 Noon, in Oakland's Frank Ogawa Plaza Broadway and 14th St, 12th St BART Station. Rally and Two-Block March to Federal Building Confirmed Speakers to date: Alex Lawson: Executive Director, Social Security Works Norman Solomon: Author, Columnist, Activist Over its 82 years, Social Security has provided income and dignity for hundreds of millions of retirees and people with disabilities, their spouses and children, and for deceased workers' spouses and children. Oakland City-Wide Emergency Youth Prayer Rally

Frank H. Ogawa Plaza Oakland, CA, United States

Hearing the news of Reggina Jeffries, the 16 year old teen that was shot and killed in Oakland early this week really hit me in a different way. She was just praise dancing at a funeral just before she was shot and killed for no reason due to Our Other Youth fighting over $5. With her being so young and with Me being the Youngest Pastor in the Bay Area, I honestly felt God pushing me to do something for my generation and the generations that are coming behind me. I LOVE MY CITY and it's my goal as a Pastor in my city to make JESUS a Necessity in#Oakland. I'm calling ALL MY FAMILY, FRIENDS, Church Family, CHURCHES, Youth around Oakland and the #BayArea to meet me THIS SATURDAY at 7:30pm to PRAY for our City and for the Young Lives that need to be saved!! I couldn't wait until Sunday to pray for all that's happening in our Cities. WE HAVE TO TAKE THE CHURCH TO THE STREETS! Everyone who Preaches in Ministry I'M CALLING FOR YOU. Everyone who sings in the church I'M CALLING FOR YOU. Everyone who loves to Shout, Dance, and Speak in Tongues..... I'M […]
