(This is NOT his Official Sophomore release) “D.O.P.E.”, which is an acronym for Dominating On Purpose Everyday, will be released nationwide via iTunes on May 30th, 2011. Transparents’ powerful lyrics reflect his unique name.
He is extremely straightforward and honest about his struggles, his ambitions and his accomplishments. Born and raised in Northern California (San Francisco Bay Area), Transparent felt that it was time to create a project that would be specifically geared to inspiring those in his own backyard.
“D.O.P.E.” is a mixture of 13 purpose-driven, mind-altering, life-changing, God-glorifying tracks. All songs were produced, mixed and mastered by California’s up-and-coming beat-making prodigy Black Knight. The catchy lead single “Ready 4 Whateva” ft. Black Knight and the amazing album cover, designed by Royalty Vision, have already began to create a national/international buzz. “Ready 4 Whateva” was released on April 14th and has already landed multiple spins on Hype Radio with Chris Chicago(Nashville, TN), which is the #1 Syndicated Christian Hip Hop Show.
