    TV One To Premiere ‘News One Now’ With Host Roland Martin Monday, November 4

    Monday, November 4 at 9 AM/ET, TV One will premier its first daily morning news broadcast News One Now. This new telecast will be led by familiar host and voice, Roland Martin, The National Association of Black Journalists’ Journalist of the year and former host of TV One’s award winning program, “Washington Watch with Roland Martin.”

    Driven by breaking news, and top mainstream media stories of the day that touch the African American audience nationwide, News One Now will focus on the analysis of politics, entertainment, sports and culture, addressing topics that are taboo in many communities and viral among youth.  

    Social interaction with viewers is at the heart of the show and will incorporate conversations from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Vine among others using the hashtag #NewsOneNow. Viewers are also encouraged to continue their experience throughout the day with exclusive program content and extended editorial on NewsOne.com and the NewsOne mobile application available on both iOS and Android.

    Our program will shed light on peripheral stories that spotlight events and individuals making a concentrated, positive impact in our communities, “said Martin. “Our Audience cannot only expect to be informed, but also inspired.
