    My #WantThatHair Holiday Hair Results

I did it. I REALLY did it. I spent an entire day outdoors, in my twist-out….all without a hat. For me this is major. Since going natural a few years ago, I’m always looking for the best products to moisturize and care for my natural hair.

A few days ago, I shared my Holiday Hair plans using a variety of items from Pantene’s Collections. I probably spent more time trying to decide which side I’d part my hair. From there it was, music, and tons of fun in my bathroom.

My simple bantu-knot style, didn’t require much. Check out the products I used below:

    • Co-Wash
    • Deep Conditioner
    • Shine Serum
    • Defining Curls Styling Custard
    • Keratin Repair Oil Mist

After using both the co-wash, and deep conditioner I applied the Shine Serum to my wet hair. The co-wash did not disappoint. It was creamy, and gave my hair full coverage without overusing the product. The quantity, and quality of the Pantene Co-Wash is just right. I didn’t go natural to go broke. This is a great affordable buy. The deep conditioner reminded me of everything I remembered about using Pantene in the past. Again, rich and creamy. I could have skipped the deep conditioner following the co-wash, but winter weather is pretty hard on my hair, so this deep conditioner came right on time.

I later blow dried my hair, committed to my part {a process…ohh the decisions}, and began twisting away using the Defining Curls Styling Custard. The particular holiday hairstyle I chose was a two-strand twist with a bantu knot.

    Here’s my hair inspiration:

Initially, I wasn’t sure what to think of the styling custard. It wasn’t as thick as others I used before, and it seemed to dry as I was using it. It could totally be my fear of weighing my hair down with too much product, so eventually, I’d apply a little more towards the end before finishing off the bantu knot.

Here’s the finished product, my #WantThatHair holiday hair!

OHHH HOW MUCH I LOVE IT! Before gently separating the twistouts, I applied a little of the shine serum to my fingers. My curls were soft and bouncy, but what I enjoyed most was how defined teach of them were. After lifting for volume & blending the sections, I spraying the oil mist, and was out the door.

Pantene offers some great afforable styling options if you’re natural or not. The Pantene Truly Natural items are an affordable choice for all naturalistas. It’s nice to know one of my old favorites can be just as good for my new hair situation.
