Tyler Perry’s latest film made its premiere Monday at the ArcLight Hollywood in Los Angeles.
From plays to on-screen dramas, singles moms have long been a staple throughout Perry’s productions.
I wrote The Single Moms Club as a celebration of single mothers and the men in their lives who lend a helping hand, says Perry. It’s about taking a minute and saying, ‘Thank you,’ and paying homage to their effort and love and everything they do each and every day.
Audiences will be happy to see Perry return to the screen, albeit not in the ‘Madea’ role he’s made famous. Castmembers include Nia Long, Cocoa Brown, Amy Smart, Terry Crews, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and William Levy.
Tyler Perry’s Single Moms Club hits theaters this Friday, March 14!
