Bay Area Faith Community Calls for Peace & Justice in Wake of Police Brutality + Shooting Deaths

The Bay Area faith community continues to lead, love, and lift their voices against violent crime in any form – especially police brutality against black and brown brothers and sisters. Here are a few interfaith gatherings, for peace and justice taking place throughout the SF Bay Area.

PICO, a nationwide faith based network is hosting “Live Free Sabbath” July 8-10, lead by its LiveFree initiative. Partner interfaith congregations have access to worship resources and tools to be implemented in all aspects of ministry.     The OIGC Annual Summer Concert is being redirected into a Concert for PEACE!! We will invite audience members to participate in a moment of silence and a gesture of peace to reflect on, remember, and honor the lives of victims of the recent shootings in Minnesota, Baton Rouge, Dallas and Orlando.
