    2011 World AIDS Day: Bay Area Events

    World AIDS Day is celebrated on December 1 each year around the world.  Local organizations provide a number of information, and testing opportunities throughout the year.  Each World AIDS Day the Bay Area commemorative events grow more exciting and creative! Check out the events for 2011:

    ONE and (RED) are hosting a live broadcast — “The Beginning of the End of AIDS” — today at 10AM EST. Speakers include President Obama, former President Clinton, Bono, and Alicia Keys, and a few others. This two-hour event will be featured on YouTube live at 10AM at http://www.youtube.com/TheONECampaign

    Hosted by: AIDS Healthcare Foundation, and GSO.  Art Murmur promotes the arts community in an organized monthly First Friday Art Walk event, called Art Murmur, which is free and open to the public.  This well attended event by people of all background will incorporate WAD with free testing, and HIV information.  Be sure to invite your friends!
