Cantare Con Vivo Celebrates its 25th Season with “Make A Joyful Noise”

Cantare Con Vivo (“To Sing With Life”) celebrating its 25th Silver Anniversary Season as one of the Bay Area’s leading choral musical arts organizations and Allen Temple Baptist Church have joined forces to present Make A Joyful Noise: From Beethoven to Gospel a Free Community Concert, Friday, March 23rd at 7:30PM at Allen Temple Baptist Church in East Oakland.  

The collaboration between Cantare Con Vivo and Allen Temple Baptist Church is made possible through the generous support of The James Irvine Foundation and The City of Oakland Cultural Funding Program. The concert will benefit the Allen Temple After-School Music Program. Conductor David Morales, founder and Artistic Director of Cantare observes, “We hope to strengthen the human bond that connects us one to another, through the life-changing force of music. This concert enables Cantare Con Vivo to better and more deeply serve our community”. Allen Temple Music Minister Emeritus Betty Gadling commented, “Many families in our community are struggling through tough economic times. This concert will lift their spirits and demonstrate that they are not forgotten or invisible”.
