BET’s Celebration of Gospel is set for 2013! As one of BET’s most anticipated annual events, now in its 13th season – it’s sure to be a night of memorable duets and performances by leading gospel and urban artists.

Comedian and syndicated radio personality Steve Harvey, who is quickly becoming the face of daytime television, will add another notch to his hosting streak as he returns to the show.

This years musical tribute will honor the late Rev. James Cleveland. Multi-award winning artists Dr. Bobby Jones, Kurt Carr, Donnie McClurkin and Rance Allen will lead this all-star tribute to Rev. Cleveland, also affectionately known as the “King of Gospel Music”.

We’ve seen some of the best in music grace the Celebration of Gospel stage – and this year won’t disappoint.  Israel Houghton & New Breed, Dorinda Clark Cole, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Karen Clark Sheard, Yolanda Adams, and Tamala Mann are just a few of the many award-winning performers scheduled to appear, as well as are R&B vocalist Tamar Braxton, gospel’s new generation of stars Kierra “Kiki” Sheard, Isaac Carree, Canton Jones, Da T.R.U.T.H., Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Choir, “SUNDAY BEST” finalist Jessica Reedy and “SUNDAY BEST” winners Joshua Rogers and Le’Andria Johnson.
