With both New York and London’s Fashion Week behind us – I’ve compiled a few of my fave fashion trends for Spring! Ok, you ready? Let’s go!
Lets start with New York Pantone Color trends for Spring 2014!!!
Designers change things up this spring by mixing soft Pastels with vivid bright colors !!! The hues were seen all over Spring/Summer 2014 runway shows – prominent colors were purple, green, cayenne, orchid and blue to name a few.
Tea Length skirt: If you enjoy afternoon tea and like saying things like Dahhhhling you can pull off this trend!! The lady like hemline can be just a savy as the mini skirt when done right! Depending your personal style, pair this skirt with a crop top for a more sexier look, or if you’re the conservative girl a frilly blouse and a crop jacket and go!
The shirt dress: This timeless piece should be a staple in every woman’s closet. The shirt dress compliments every body shape from my curvy girls to my skinny girls. Weather with a belt or by itself, with flats or a hot stiletto, dress up or down you can’t go wrong with this look
Wide Leg Trouser!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this trend!!! The wide leg trouser is comfortable casual yet makes you look lean, tall and glamorous all at the same time . Pair it with a flouncy top and suspender and a hot clutch and you’re ready!!!
Boxy Crop Jacket: This jacket has no darts and is loose fitting which allows it to work with any body type. Designers are making these trendy jacket in all sorts of colors, patterns and prints so you’ll be able to find one that works for you. The jacket goes with just about everything, you can even pair it with your tea length full skirt or your wide leg trousers (wink, wink) . You can even wear it with your favorite jeans for an edgy lady like sophisticated look!
Pointed-toe-pump: Ladies, if you dont pick up any of my spring faves make sure you at least grab you a pair of pointed-toe-pumps!!! Sleek, sophisticated and ladylike, the pointed pump is coming back strong. This trend is reminiscent of the 1960s fashion when fashion icons like Audrey Hepburn and Jackie O wouldn’t be caught dead without a pair of these on. The PTP (pointed-toe-pump) will go with everything in your closet! Dress it up dress it down you can’t go wrong!
What styles will you try this season?
