    AMC Honors MLK’s Legacy with Nationwide FREE Showing

    This year, marks the 51st anniversary of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s assassination at the Lorraine Motel (Memphis, TN), April 4, 1968. The tragic day has been reclaimed over the years as an opportunity to increase social justice awareness and create more service opportunities in the community.

    AMC Theatres are offering FREE passes for the Oscar®-nominated documentary, KING: A FILMED RECORD…MONTGOMERY TO MEMPHIS, at select AMC theatres, 6pm on April 4, in over 30 states.

    The Academy Award-nominated documentary, follows King from 1955 to 1968 with a collection of newsreels and speeches. It also includes narration from a number of celebrity voices from that time.
